José Espadas, mayor of the town of Alhama de Murcia, went to the opening of an itinerant exhibition on the 9th of March, "Fotoespuña09."
The event, led by President of the Commonwealth Tourism Espuña, Isabel Toledo, attended by the mayors of the various components of the Commonwealth municipalities, as well as the respective council of Tourism.
This exhibition displays 32 photographs shortlisted Fotoespuña09 contest, which was organized with the aim to disseminate and publicize the excellence of the various municipalities that comprise the Commonwealth, and the Regional Park of Sierra Espuña.
This issue has had a large number of participants and excellent quality in terms of photographs submitted to the contest, being surpassed in number of participants from the previous edition, Fotoespuña08.
This year the theme was "Flowering Almond Espuña", "Landscape and Nature in Sierra Espuña and their environment" and "Heritage and Traditions of the peoples of the Sierra."
He has also had the category "Public", where all those who accessed the Web could vote for their favorite photo.
This time the winning photographs from the public have been two.
During the opening has proceeded to the presentation of prizes to the winners of various categories of the competition.
In the event has presented the new "Service Guide Espuña, completely updated, as it has enjoyed the cooperation of the companies involved.
This guide aims to be an essential tool for tourists wishing to visit the region of Sierra Espuña, because the information contained therein Lodging ranges from rural, to bars and restaurants, museums, artisans, entertainment companies, to the offices municipal tourism components Espuña Commonwealth.
In this edition incorporates the services of all districts of the Commonwealth of the Espuña.
