Celebration City Council chose the 1st of March who will be the Mayor of the Festival Corremayo Los Mayos 2010.
Zabala Andres Moreno was unanimously elected Mayor Mayor Race 2010, will receive tribute on Saturday 1 May at 21.00 in the Plaza de la Constitution.
Zabala has been chosen for his work in promoting and spreading the Party of Los Mayos.
He was part of the rock of La Caña, a group that invented and created the character of corremayos.
Andrés Zabala began to engage fully in the parade of corremayos and everything concerning parties in Los Mayos, without missing a single parade or, even, when they took place outside the municipality to promote the holidays.
Celebrations Party Council, headed by the head of the area, Maria Elena Marín, gave him a surprise on Monday, 8 in the afternoon, handing the letter announcing his appointment.
Andrés Zabala was grateful and pleasantly surprised to embody in the coming party to such a beloved character.
