The house purchase and value Solitas]

One of the main obligations of all municipal councils is to safeguard, appropriateness and value of their heritage.

Perhaps one of the major projects to be taken in relation to one of our BIC is the liberation of the northern facade of the Church of San Lazaro, which would leave one of the most representative buildings of our free heritage buildings, and allow an important stake on the axis of the Historic Area of the Castle, hope future archaeological park and the Centre de los Baños.

This requires a negotiation with the Diocese, and all is to offer an alternative to the current school of Christ, home of alhameño catechumenate, which currently does not meet eligibility requirements, especially if we consider the number of children who go there day after day, and the parlous state of these facilities.

This property, private property is subject to a serious deterioration by neglect, and it is the duty of our council in the first place to prevent this deterioration and degradation as well as prevent the traces of history can disappear for the benefit of private interests.

We firmly believe that this property in its own right is part of our past, our heritage, and we must act decisively, not only by the will of its distinguished owner, but its importance as well, and their situation strategic cultural and artistic shaft above.

We sincerely believe that is in the hands of our council to negotiate with the current owners to purchase the assets of the municipality, it would be the key to deal on one side with the CAAC rehabilitation, property that gives wide possibilities, and most importantly, piece exchange for locating the new school of Christ and why not, the desired and promised by all museums and Headquarters Board of guilds, and address the release of the north wall of our BIC, the Church of San Lazaro, thus restoring its state original, leaving you free from every building and accessible from all fronts, which would be a worth Historic declared Historic.

This action would be a firm commitment by one of the values that we must enhance our growth to revive tourism, catering and trade, enhancement of our heritage and tourism potential of our town.

Que se inicien las negociaciones con los actuales propietarios de la denominada Casa de las Solitas para la adquisición de la misma en los términos que convengan ambas partes, y menos lesivos para el interés general.

2º.

Que se tomen las medidas necesarias para evitar el deterioro del inmueble referido, por formar parte de hecho y por derecho de la Historia de nuestro municipio y uno de los pocos ejemplos de este tipo de construcciones que quedan en nuestra localidad, así como estar catalogado en nuestro inventario de bienes protegidos.

3º.

Que se realice un proyecto de actuación, adecuación y puesta en valor de dicha edificación, siendo una propuesta más, ya título de ejemplo, la redactada en la parte expositiva de esta propuesta por nuestro grupo municipal.
