Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Information Society Francisco Ros, the government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, and the mayor of Alhama, José Espadas presented this morning an assessment of Fund projects Employment State and Local Sustainability of improvements in information technology and communication submitted by the municipalities of the Region of Murcia.
The mayor of the municipality has focused its intervention in projects on new technologies and improving street lighting provided by the Consistory E Local Plan 2010.
In particular, spoke Swords Network Interconnection municipal center, with an investment of 335,242 euros, will connect all city buildings, structured cabling and networking equipment for City Hall, with an amount of EUR 120,462 will enable the provision of online electronic services improve considerably the provision of special equipment and telecommunications facilities management software specific to the local police (104,028 euros) and the improvement and upgrading of street lighting to achieve a increased energy savings (298.717 euros).
Regarding the new State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability 2010, González Tovar has been argued to be a major fillip for the improvement of new information technologies and communication backbone to achieve economic progress, social and cultural, to revive the economy and increase its competitiveness and therefore welcomed the breadth of views made by the City Council to embark on such an ambitious project.
With all this, the City of Alhama makes a bid to increase the quality, speed and performance of services to citizens that have an impact on more efficient use of public resources, cost reduction, customer satisfaction, integration across departments and administrative simplification, not forgetting that these advances will create 33 new jobs.
