This morning was held in the city of Alhama presentation of "Christmas Program 2009."
The local mayor, Juan Romero, accompanied by Councilwoman Maria Elena Marin Youth, Tourism and Celebrations, have appeared before the media to report the various events listed in this schedule.
The activities will start on Friday 18 December with traditional Christmas Opening Speech by Ms Maruja Andreo, followed by musical performance "Messiah" performed by the Choir of the Musical Association of Alhama, and will end on Wednesday 6 January with the Prom Kings.
The mayor announced a new development, on previous years, the procession of San Lazaro to take place on Saturday 19 in the streets of the city.
The new image, Galo Conesa, will be installed in the chapel of the Funeral.
The mayor of Celebration announced a major contribution by the councils, in shaping the program: Culture, hamlets, Celebrations, Seniors, Women, Parks and Gardens .., etc.
The mayor of the city encourages all residents to participate in these holiday activities, with emphasis on the procession of the day 19, while recalling that our parishes also have an extensive program for this year end.
