The City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Culture and Heritage, has conducted a year dissemination activities of the Archives with a commitment to continue promoting and raising awareness of the important documentary heritage treasures from the past five hundred years.
Visits made during the 11th, 12,13 and 18 November, have brought together a total of 107 students from the College Gines San Cristóbal Díaz.
This year has been incorporated into the material a new event entitled "The stones also speak ..." to complete, through a small tour of the badges and symbols most representative of our people, studied in the booklet "The Shield."
In a funny way children have known other media for information, apart from those already analyzed in the file, such as in this case the stone, and thus enter into the wonderful world of research trying to decipher the information that they show.
The intent of the visits is to show students the importance of the history of our people saved documents are preserved and remain to this day.
Participating groups during the month of November were:
November 11: 6th A, Gines College Days San Cristobal.
November 12: 5th B-day College Gines San Cristobal.
November 13: 5 º A and 5 º C, Gines College San Cristobal Day
November 18: 6th B-day College Gines San Cristobal.
Moreover, during the November 16, students of 2nd ESO Institute of Teaching Secondary Valle de Leiva had the opportunity to see the facilities that the City is intended to safeguard the documents that serve as a guarantor of rights citizens and historical heritage of the city.
Center staff showed the students a very important document for the municipality and age: Chapter Acts Books, Municipal Census, Land Registry of the Marqués de la Ensenada ... etc.
On the other hand, emphasized the thorough and rigorous organization forward in the treatment of post-stored information that allows you to manage, with immediacy and clarity, the data base and documentation for the storage area.
