Various activities in the town commemorate World Book Day (07/04/2009)

World Book Day is celebrated on April 23, 2009, hence the City through the Department of Culture has scheduled a series of activities to commemorate this day.

On these activities informed the councilman of Culture, Jesus Basauri, which reiterated the importance of this day in this Department and that the main objective of this program is the approach to books and reading, encouraging and promoting the cultural concerns through these cultural outreach librarian.

On Saturday, April 18, there will be a writing workshop through the municipal archives in two sessions by age.

Registration will take place at the Archaeological Museum of the Baths.

On 24 April, will inaugurate the exhibition "I Cartoons for Kids Contest" in addition to this very day will also be prizes.

On April 25 at the City Library, will be an origami workshop, also conducted in two sessions by age of children with a maximum of 15 participants.

That same day in the Meeting Room of City Hall at 20:30 am will be the awards ceremony of the IX Alfonso Martínez Mena Literary Contest.

On Thursday, May 7 at 21:00 pm, there will be a poetry-sung by Magdalena Blesa, Jerome and Esther Carpes Galián Archaeological Museum in Los Baños.

On Friday May 8 at the Archaeological Museum is the "Night of Legends."

In addition, several evenings at the Children's Room of the Municipal Library will be the activity "Tell me a story" for children.
