The City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Employment and Local Development, organized the training "English tourist", which opened this morning, Thursday February 5, with the help of Councillor for Employment, José López , Center for Training and Employment.
The mayor was accompanied by the teacher who will teach the course Carmen Sánchez Flores, a graduate in Modern Languages, specializing in English.
This course has a duration of 200 hours that day will be held between February 5 and April 2, 2009 from 9:00 to 14:00.
The purpose of this course is to train the participants to solve correctly and fluid situations or customer care to visitors in English, mainly in tourism, developing oral comprehension processes and written to generate this sector of economic activity.
The course is basic, and is primarily aimed at people who are unemployed, with little or no language skills, so it is intended to facilitate an initial qualification to improve accessibility to the labor market.
People who will participate in this course are 15 and given the large number of applications that have been collected this year, probably re-apply for the grant program and its implementation to the Regional Employment Service and Training, which is the entity that together with the European Social Fund, has supported this course.
