Councilman Police and Public Safety, Fulgencio de la Cruz, along with the councilman of Staff, Adela de San Nicolás, have made a statement which has been informed of the activities undertaken by the Police and Municipal Brigades during the last days because of strong wind that the town has suffered.
On most incidents resulted in the wind, was the morning of Saturday, January 24, where the local police received many calls from residents of the municipality by power outages, mostly from the area of the Carrasca, like Quarter of the Philippines who stayed for a few hours without light.
Also had to hold several cables present a danger to traffic, as well as other objects such as several fences, cactus, tree, road signs and several containers that "running" the streets.
Besides the wind bent the Cross of Calvary had to fix, as it responded to a collision of a car into a lamppost, but the important thing is not having to lament these days no injuries.
The mayor of the City Staff reiterated the good work performed by Electricians Brigades seal and the seal of the Brigades of Works and Municipal Services who were working from 8:00 to 19:00 am Saturday 24 January.
Councilman Police and Public Safety has taken the occasion to inform citizens that for some time, this Council has been an increase in one type of crime that is creating alarm in the town and there are several thefts of handbags in full street.
During the month of December there were four thefts of handbags and during the last days of January there have been five tugs and that is why from the local police are to take steps to eradicate this problem, even said that has recorded almost all of the identity of the author of at least the last theft.
Fulgencio also reported other actions that the local police is carrying out the incorporation of plainclothes officers on the streets of Alhama, as it has highlighted the importance of the cooperation of citizens to make local streets safer and quiet.
