The mayor of Works & Services reports on the actions the Department has undertaken and planned (13/01/2009)

Councilman Works and Services, Alfonso Fernando Cerón, made a statement where he informed of the activities that the Department has recently carried out in the town and planned to soon.

The mayor has said that it is proceeding with clearing and cleaning of all public roads in the municipality, including municipal solar.

It has also made a substitution of defective sidewalks in the main streets of the town: Librilla street, street Marcos Redondo, Antonio Machado Street, Constitution Avenue, Calle Federico García Lorca, Fuente del Ral street, street Acisclo Diaz, Calle Menorca, Tenerife street, calle Velázquez, street parricide, Street Soccer Field and Garden of the Pino.

We have also carried out another plan of patching affecting several streets, including: Antonio street, street heather, street Greco, Murillo street, Camino Viejo de Cartagena, Alfonso X street, street Valeros, the Raphaels and street sale Gil with street Murcia.

At Santa Barbara has replaced the existing guardrails is dangerous and ugly by a railing that enhances its surroundings.

It has also repositioned the existing guardrail on a curve in the road of cones that broke due to an accident.

The Department has also made the placement of a bright and informative panel opposite the tourist office at no cost to the City Council.

The mayor has said that since mid-December and Alhama flows through one of the two tow trucks purchased by the City, the other truck is scheduled to deliver it soon, when the availability of the two trucks will be made the official presentation.
