The Directorate General of Housing and Architecture finance the drafting of two key works for Alhama: its future audience and the "Garden of the Ducks."

Teatro Auditorio de Alhama will be built in the Park La Cubana, opposite the Town Hall and near the Casa de la Cultura and the food market.

The new building will have a capacity for 700 people and will be enabled for both theater to musical performances.
The investment for this new project is EUR 232,289.00, which amount, the Ministry of Public Works and Territory Management subsidize their total.
The agreement will also perform rehabilitation work on another area of historical interest in Alhama de Murcia as the "Garden of the Ducks" and the adjacent Street Fair, which recently have been discovered archaeological remains of the Roman era.
