Alhama City Council renews the fleet with seven new vehicles to be presented on Thursday morning December 11.
The acquisition of these vehicles has been carried out by the City Council through the Department of Works and Services.
To report this acquisition, the local mayor, Juan Romero, Councilmember of Works and Services, Alfonso Fernando Cerón and Councilman of Finance, Jose Lopez, have made a statement which expressed the need to renew the fleet of vehicles City Council for the Brigades and the Technical Office.
Vehicles available to the City Council were outdated and very old so they were always made in the shop for repairs, assuming a high annual cost and also harmed the image of City Hall.
Vehicles purchased include two Volkswagen Caddy van, a Volkswagen Transporter van 8 seater personnel carriers, an Opel Combo van, 2 Opel Corsa and Opel Astra.
The amount of the 3 vans is around EUR 36000 Volkswagen and Opel have been acquired through a leasing.
With this initiative the Council aims to achieve significant financial savings, improve its image and increase the safety of their employees.
