The mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Juan Romero, accompanied by the Director General of Sports, Antonio Peñalver, and several members of the Municipal Corporation visited the Tuesday, November 18, the pediment of the sports track 'The Praico', after the work rehabilitation to suit the legal dimensions.
During the visit, Antonio Peñalver, made a kick-off and saw firsthand the quality of these facilities.
The execution of the work has involved an investment of 40,717 euros, of which the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has contributed € 23,000.
The rehabilitation has been the extension of the runway fronton of 30 meters and up for it a rebound wall, 30 meters freestyle existing gable wall.
It has also improved access to the track in the back of the sports 'The Paico' where the track is located pediment.
