The instrument

Tadeo Tornel

Tornel Tadeo was an important musical instrument maker in the eighteenth century, specializing in the harpsichord, piano and organ.

Born in Alhama de Murcia on February 20, 1729 and was named Antonio León Thadeo Tornel.

At 38 he moved to the capital.

In 1770 will be presented as a musician in the chapel of the convent of Corpus Christi, Augustinian religious.
