The City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Employment and Women, the Organization of Murcia Business and Professional Women (OMEP) has announced the XIV AWARDS FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS.
This award aims to publicly acknowledge the work done by companies located in the territory of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, whose basic condition lies in the creation or direction of the same by a woman.
In this way it encourages and rewards the efforts of women in joining the world of business and its contribution to economic and social development of our region.
Candidates are eligible for three awards:
Business Lifetime Achievement Award: Women who encourages or directs a company with long experience in the sector.
Entrepreneurship Award: Women who encourages or directs a company innovative.
Prize for the Promotion of Equality: Women entrepreneurs and businessmen to promote equality within their companies, which stand for the realization of positive actions.
The awards will be honorary and shall consist of a piece of sculpture in bronze.
The deadline ends on November 3, 2008.
