Open to traffic the new RM-23 highway that connects Alhama de Murcia Mazarrón (25/06/2008)

The Minister of Works, Housing and Transport, José Ballesta, announced today at a press conference opening to traffic from 12:00 in the new RM-23 highway between Alhama de Murcia and Mazarron, corresponding to the splitting of the MU-603 road and highways connecting the RM-2 (Campo de Cartagena-Alhama de Murcia) and RM-3 (Totana, Mazarron).

The highway, which has had an operating budget of more than 9 million euros, is the connection of a belt of highways, linking the motorway RM2, which in turn communicates the A-7 and A-30 with the highway Mazarrón goes to Totana.

Characteristics of MR-23

The new route has a length of 9.1 kilometers and has two links that allow access to the highway and give continuity to the rest of the way the town of Alhama.
