The Auger Municipal Theatre Workshop has received special mention as Finalist Phase V National Youth Theatre Awards Buero organized and sponsored by Coca Cola Foundation "Juan Manuel Sainz de Vicuna, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry Culture, being among the top three selected from a total of 11 finalists for Phase Autonomy in the category of cultural associations.
He has also received a special mention for best performance space.
These awards will be given at the Awards Gala to be held in Madrid on July 11.
The jury of the national phase is made up of people from all branches of the theater of national and international renown as Anabel Alonso, Luis Maria Anson, Mary Adanez, Ernesto Aleterio, Juan Echanove, Antonio Gala, Manuel Galiana, Lola Herrera, Emilio Gutierrez Caba, Silvia Mars', Emma Suarez, etc. ..
and chaired by the widow of Buero Vallejo, Buero Victoria Rodriguez.
Also two players in the Municipal Theatre Workshop Auger: Esmeralda Garcia Chumillas and Blas Jesús Sánchez García have been selected to participate in the Campus Buero 2008 with another 150 young people from 7 to 11 July at the Colegio Mayor Santo Tomás de Aquino de Madrid where they will learn the best tricks on stage and have a space of relationships with professionals in the Spanish scene, in order to transmit and share experiences, technical exercise and perform practical exercises useful in the interpretation and stage direction.
After dinner, every night is scheduled recreational activities (musical and magic), and during his stay live encounter with a major figure of the National Board, attendance at performances of the finalists in the National Drama Centre, and hilarious closing party on campus.
