The City of Alhama de Murcia through the Department of Culture, welcomed the signing of the annual agreement with the Board of Fraternities and Sororities on Friday 16 May.
The municipal mayor, Juan Romero Canovas and President of the Board of Guilds Guild Pasionarias de Alhama, Juan Carlos Ibáñez, signed the annual agreement that are intended to support the work involved in the development of Easter Alhama.
Under the signed document, the City delivers to the Board of Fraternities and Sororities the amount of â‚¬ 42,070.84, increasing the amount awarded 6,000 euros last year.
Among other provisions, the agreement makes the decision to establish a committee of experts or consultants in the Board of guilds, with decision-making and reporting binding as to the approval of proposals for new or processional sculptural heritage, and as to their own processions.
Also provides, among many more agreements, creation of a working committee and a program of actions to establish guidelines for action which has as its object and purpose statement Easter Alhama de Murcia National Tourist Interest.
