More than 1,300 schoolchildren in Alhama de Murcia can participate in the Christmas stories competition organized by the Foundation ElPozo Food Workers (04/12/2015)

The Foundation has published 4,500 copies with the winning stories in the first two editions of the competition, which will distribute among its members

More than 1,300 primary school cycle may participate in the third edition of the Christmas story contest organized by the Foundation of Food Workers of El Pozo, whose awards will be presented on December 17 at 20 pm in the Casa de la Cultura Alhama de Murcia.

The deadline for submission of stories ends on Wednesday 9 December.

The three classes organized by age, are rewarded with educational materials valued at $ 200 awarded to the first 150 the second and 125 the third.

It has also included a special category for the educational center of town alhameño most number of students present to the contest, with a prize of 1,000 euros for library material.

In addition, the Labour Foundation has published 4,500 copies of a book with the winning stories in the first two editions of the competition, which will give away to its partners, and the people attending the ceremony for the awards this year.

This initiative, which promotes literacy and creativity among children, is part of one of the main objectives of the Foundation Food ElPozo workers, fed funds contributed 50 percent to the company and workers, to develop actions for welfare purposes and social and cultural promotion.

The Foundation also collaborates with NGOs, and promotes cultural and training programs for company employees.

It also ensures the free time of its members by organizing artistic events, actions aimed at health maintenance and testing for early detection of breast cancer, uterus, prostate, and colon, among workers of El Pozo, and educational as this story contest.

In the past year the Foundation has collaborated with important economic contributions to the Spanish Association Against Cancer and Doctors Without Borders.

It also supports the Association of Rare Disease and other disorders Graves D'GENES Development, and has contributed to the construction of a school for girls and women in Mangacounda (Senegal), in addition to the therapeutic center helping fleets to Munuera Francisco Martinez Foundation, both in Murcia, and Proyecto Hombre.
