Last Thursday, September 17, the Councillor for Women, Nani Navarro, met with the General Director of Women of the Autonomous Community, Alicia Barquero Sanchez in the Business Incubator for Women.
There they discussed the situation Point Specialized Care for Women Victims of Domestic Violence, exposing the difficulties being experienced by the service in the last three years.
The progressive increase in users since 2013 and the lack of staff to meet the number of operations made, requires the implementation of mechanisms that will improve care and prevention actions.
Improvement proposals were discussed and the Director agreed to a budget increase for next year 2016. The meeting was also attended by the Councillor for Personnel, Social Services and Public Safety, Felipe García, as well as the technicians of the Department.
