Yesterday the Center for Training and Employment of Alhama de Murcia hosted the Day of collective training for new selected for the process of accreditation of the Second Phase of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS) companies.
The event was inaugurated Andrés Muñoz, Curator Director of the Regional Park of Sierra Espuña, and Diego Conesa, Mayor of Alhama de Murcia.
Also it involved a representative of the Espuña Tourist Association (Association of tourist companies in the territory), who presented the association and told his experience as a company accredited with CETS.
In this new edition they are participating 7 companies totaling eight establishments: 4 accommodations, 2 restaurants and 2 complementary activities (active tourism).
The benefits derived by companies accredited with the Charter are:
Access to a new type of customers interested by nature and protected areas.
Improvement in the quality of services offered to its customers.
Development of energy saving system and consumption.
Development of management systems that allow a more efficient and effective in daily tasks.
Promotion and advertising of the company through various networks, channels, scales and services (Park, Europarc, Ecotourism Product Club ...).
