Civil Protection monitors this summer Alhama "black spots" at risk of fire in our natural areas (10/07/2015)

This action is part of Infomur 2015 (http://www.112rm.com/dgsce/planes/infomur.php) Plan.

A total of 13 volunteers make mobile surveillance in Sierra Espuña, La Muela, Gebas, El Berro and the El Castillo.

It is called "black spots", places and corners where they have visibility of the usual guards booths.

From Civil Protection it is also conducting a campaign of surveillance to control recreational areas barbecues and educate residents about the high risk of fire, especially these days dry and intense heat.

95% of forest fires that occur in summer and are usually caused by carelessness or forgetfulness, carelessness, irresponsibility or arsonists behaviors, so it is recommended:

1. Do not throw cigarettes, matches or lighters to the ground.

2. Do not throw rubbish outside the containers provided.

3. Do not throw glass bottles.

4. No fire on the mountain gullies and ravines in times of risk.

This campaign of surveillance and collaboration will take place during the months of July and August, weekends and public holidays in the afternoon.
