The Youth Council adheres to the campaign "Remove the pause" which aims to enable young people in the labor market (12/03/2015)

Youth Councillor, Carmen Maria Rodriguez, presented the advertising campaign, "Remove the pause".

A campaign promoted by the regional government and which has joined the City of Alhama de Murcia.

It aims to "enable the labor market to those youth of the town who neither study nor work".

This action is part of the program of measures to promote employment among under 25s called Youth Guarantee, funded by the European Union, which is one of the pillars of the Strategy for Employment Creation 2014-2016.

Rodriguez said that "the purpose of the campaign is to reach young people, through all means, including new technologies, asking them to join and commit because the regional government and the City of Alhama have an alternative to they ".

The program, which the Autonomous Region allocated 45 million euros, intends, "on the one hand, properly qualify the young to be prepared to start work in an increasingly competitive and globalized market and, secondly, seeks to activate young people in a period as short as possible to keep in touch with the labor market ".

The measures provided for in the Youth Guarantee is divided into four main lines of action: first, to improve the orientation and intermediation;

the second, to improve employability;

third, to encourage recruitment;

and fourth, to promote entrepreneurship.
