"The Municipal government spends only 0.7% of all income investments in Alhama in the last budget of the legislature" (28/01/2015)

Among the proposals of the PSOE is investing 160,000 euros in education, reduce the wage gap City officials and cut municipal costs of electricity, water and garbage

The Plenum of January was ahead a week and brought as a single point the approval of the municipal budget for 2015. From the Socialist Municipal Group, our spokesperson and candidate for mayor, Diego Conesa, recalled the lack of diligence of government Autonomous Community during this term, which has done so much damage to our town with unfulfilled promises of investment and financing for Alhama.

Finance Councilman and Mayor boast in their reports that we have a budget more than 800,000 euros surplus.

But say nothing of budgetary stability, which is only 11,000 euros.

And this is the relevant data.

Only 0.7% of the regular budget of the Ayuntamiento is intended for investment, and an important part of the money invested is still Polaris urban land use.

The Autonomous Community has returned to revive the 2015 Plan of Works and Services, after three years without it, and it does exactly when you have an unaffordable debt of 7,000 million euros, without further explanation that it is an election year.

And we do not know what will happen in the future.

Our candidate, Diego Conesa, has said that the current Municipal government acts back to the citizens and that "has given no explanation or interest in projects like Smart City, the agreement signed with the UCAM, reform of the Cuban Park or the expansion of the Municipal School of Music ".

It has also exposed that do not need an absolute majority to govern our City, "can govern in minority having capacity for dialogue to reach agreements."

"The current government pact has failed to fulfill promises made investments in education, such as school Nuestra unfold. Ms. Del Rosario and construction of a new institute Valle de Leiva" highlighted Conesa.

He also urged the government team to forward the act of appointment of favorite sons Alhama to Strong brothers, not to coincide with the election campaign and politicize for the current leaders.

An appointment has the support of our group, and the promotion party for Los Mayos declaration of National Tourist Interest.

The legislature ending has been marked by the laying of the foundation stone of the Paramount project in 2012, which would entail 22,000 jobs and an input of money for investment, which finally occurred.

Our spokesman also highlighted the rising cost of light in this term from 600,000 to one million euros for the council.

"It's been three years' budgets to raise and lower the blind, management autopilot, with the same items year after year," he noted.

In our group Education raises 160,000 euros investment that will directly reduce costs Municipal Government, and shall apply to the needs of education and equal opportunities policies centers.

The garbage contract, which together with water is the most important of the municipality, ends next April, and the Socialist Group believe that current conditions can be adjusted by 10%, which would save 300,000 euros.

"The government team has not been transparent nor given participation neighbors to try to renegotiate with the company looking for that saving, nor do we know if he wants to renew the current terms or what the intentions are" exposed Diego Conesa.

As for the sentence Bavinor, the City has to pay compensation of 680,000 euros, of which a good part corresponds to interest.

In the 2014 budget the government team did not include it, but eventually 136,000 euros, which is the same amount to pay each year until 2018 were paid.

We also emphasized on the need to reduce wage inequality between officials of our City, to follow not increasing the huge gap that already exists.

Just the opposite to what we have seen in recent years.

At the turn of questions and answers, the Socialist spokesman, Andrés Zabala, asked the councilor of Celebration why have not had the Auto de Reyes Mayos in El Berro, despite coming into the festival program.

He also reiterated the support of PSOE de Alhama in promoting the party of Los Mayos for declaration of National Tourist Interest.

Mariola Guevara, social responsibility in education, asked the Councillor for Education by the agreement of the Ministry of Education with the cooperative that manages the Azaraque College to grant two lines at the center, both primary and secondary, and how it will harm that the construction of a new institute Valle de Leiva.

Finally, Diego Conesa had questions back to the council Works and Services to clarify what decision will be taken on the renewal of the contract of garbage due within three months.
