The Cooking Channel caravan arrives at Alhama de Murcia today to record the show kitchen Mayor (12/02/2014)

Accompanied by Begoña Tormo journalist, presenter of space, show the rich cuisine of the town

Fernando Alfonso Ceron, Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, will be the big star of Cooking Channel on Friday 14 February.

The channel will move to this city with his caravan Murcia-Mobile set to record a new release of its program Today Mayor kitchen.

The recording, open to the public, will take place at 12:30 pm in the atrium of the church of San Lázaro.

The ruler comes to the mobile channel set to make a "fresh pot", a typical recipe of local cuisine based on pork, morcilla and chickpeas.

Accompanied by journalist specializing in food Begoña Tormo, hostess kitchen Today Mayor, Fernando Alfonso Ceron for Cooking Channel also show the rich cuisine of the town along different sites where they are produced and typical products are tasted.

The gastronomic tour begins with a visit to Loin Trading, a company dedicated exclusively to the production and marketing of organic citrus (oranges and lemons).

Later, Cooking Channel cameras arrive to Pozo Food, which opened its doors for the first time as a modest deli in 1936, and now days is one of the largest Spanish companies in the development of pork products.

The last stop on the tour after burning in the caravan, will be the restaurant Vest, a real gastronomic region in 1991 which won the prize of the European Academy of Gastronomy in Paris, and in highlighting its tasty stuffed artichokes, chard soups, beans, peppers and potatoes, and homemade desserts.

Wheel Cooking Channel

To celebrate his fifteen years on the air, Cooking Channel has launched its most ambitious: Cooking Channel on wheels, a great caravan-set walking every corner of our country to explore the features and secrets of its cuisine, recording numerous programs which are being issued in the channel.

The mobile set is equipped with the technology of a television studio and all the necessary elements in a kitchen.

Today Mayor kitchen is the first program that records the channel in this mobile set.
