The Ministry of Presidency incorporates the town of Alhama de Murcia Regional Network of Local Coordination tables against Gender Violence, in order to develop local policies that contribute to the eradication of gender violence.
Thus, it has become today in Alhama de Murcia Local Coordinating Board, as an instrument of dialogue and unity against gender violence that activates next and protection to victims.
Creating Local Coordinating Board includes actions to improve the early detection of cases, promote coordination of entities and resources involved, attention and response speed offered to women as well as enhance awareness raising and prevention professionals and citizenship.
The purpose of this tool is, as Veronica Lopez, CEO of Prevention of Domestic Violence, that administrations "unite for victims to receive a more tailored to their needs and level of risk, while serving to increase perception of safety and closeness by the institutions. "
The Local Coordination tables against Gender Violence, an initiative of the Ministry of Presidency, become an example of collaboration between administrations to identify challenges and develop a comprehensive strategy of detection, treatment and eradication of this type of violence.
