The city of Alhama de Murcia, in order to respond to the demand of visitors and the local population itself, has signed an agreement with a company that will be responsible for visits to the Castle.
Carmen Maria Rodriguez, head of Culture and Heritage, has announced that the city of Alhama de Murcia has made an agreement with a company Entre Adventure will be responsible for guided tours to local monument.
The mayor explained that, due to demand since Consistory staff is not enough to meet this need, we have opted to sign the aforementioned agreement.
Visits will begin on Sunday October 27 and will be held the second Saturday and fourth Sunday of each month.
Each of these days will be two visits, one to ten in the morning and one at 12.00.
Registration for these visits should be made in the Archaeological Museum of Los Baños and is priced at 2 euros for children under 12 and $ 3 for ages 3 years and adults.
Moreover, the councilor also noted that these visits have been offered to schools for 4, 5 and 6 for primary and secondary and high schools students.
The intention of this initiative, according to the mayor is, first, to "make a municipality Alhama de Murcia increasingly touristy" and secondly, "provide students with the knowledge of our history."
