During the months of July and August, Antonio Machado school will host the Social Revitalization Workshop organized by the municipality of Alhama de Murcia through the Social Welfare Department.
The project this year has been divided into two workshops, one for July and one for August, with the intention of expanding squares and to respond to the different needs of participating families.
The ages of the children are between 6 and 15 years.
This workshop will be a variety of activities: on site CEIP Antonio Machado will develop various workshops such as: music, creativity, games, theater, learning through play, environment, etc..
Furthermore, in its sports hall will take place all kinds of organized games, where they will work and cooperation objectives, the importance of teamwork and healthy competition.
In addition, students also enjoy bathing in the swimming pool of Guadaletín.
Opening the workshop, the head of the area, Mari Carmen Diaz noted that "there are 105 children who are part of this workshop July. Among them is a small number belonging to disadvantaged families that have come directly from Social Services . According to Mari Carmen Diaz "has not been easy to get it going, but we are committed to be acquired with parents from day one".
