The Local Government Board on a proposal from the Sports Council, adopted at the meeting on June 12, giving a total of 67,500 euros in aid for sports associations and clubs Alhama de Murcia has attended the programs Grants Call Municipal Sport 2013.

These grants are intended to facilitate the proper activity and performance of the clubs as well as the athletes that comprise alhameños while promoting their participation in competitions and adequate preparation.

The criteria determining the amounts that each of associations is, depend on different aspects related objectives that develop sport, such as the number of athletes, number of teams that have competing parties or actions performed, results obtained, organized events, etc. ..

This grant program will benefit 21 clubs implanted in Alhama de Murcia have requested, which is to get almost all local athletes who are currently competing in leagues and tournaments federative regional and national level.

These beneficiaries are:

Leiva Sports Association, Sports Association Insurance Pedrosa and Robles, Alhama Football Club, Alhama Guidance and Mountain Club, Local League Sports Association, Athletics Club Alhama, Alhama Basketball Club, Cycling Club Espuña Sportgym Sports Club, Club Soccer Schools Alhama, Alhama Judo Club, Swimming Club Alhama, Alhama Paddle Club, Club Ball Alhama, Flask Neighborhood Club of San Andrés, La Carrasca Petanque Club, Tennis Racket Club, Club Synchro Alhama, Trialtlón Trialhama Club, Gliding Club Alhama and Moto Club Alhama.
