Last May 23 was held at the House of Culture of the II Alhama Employment and Entrepreneurship, organized by the city of Alhama, through the Department of Training and Employment, with a total duration of 5 hours.

During the course of this meeting, which was attended by about 150 people, were exposed by the technical staff of Employment and expert advice, support measures and resources in various fields and especially in Alhama, to facilitate entrepreneurship and self-employment.

Also, to explain the business opportunities and local employment in the various economic sectors of Alhama, counted with the participation of business associations in the municipality (rural tourism, retail, hospitality, construction and irrigation community) which together with the manager Industrialhama and the representative of Premursa, Paramount Park promoter, analyzed the current economic situation of the municipality and the prospects for development, highlighting the business opportunities associated with agriculture and exports, innovation and quality of products and services all productive sectors and the potential that the project Paramount has job creation and economic activity.

In order to promote and disseminate entrepreneurial culture, schools develop programs that this course EME (Entrepreneurship in my school), which are the CEIP Ginés Diaz - CEIP San Cristobal and Prince of Spain, and SHAFT program (European young company) IES Miguel Hernandez, explained their experience as "entrepreneurs", highlighting how they are organized, what products sell, and above all, how enriching it has been for them their approach to business.

Finally, seven businesspeople alhameños, subsidized by the city in 2012, recounted their experience in this year of activity, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of being an entrepreneur, how they came to start their business, the support they have received since the Administration, and above all, encouraged attendees to embark on the venture, since according to all the speakers is an enriching experience and we are very satisfied.

The day was closed by the Mayor of Alhama, Fernando Alfonso Ceron, who applauded content covered and the organization of this event, congratulating the Department of Employment and highlighting the success of the program of aid to entrepreneurs and the economic potential of our town.
