This demand was met by the Department of Health, following the efforts of the local government team.
The second claim of the residents of the hamlet, was the diversion and channeling of the promenade of El Cañarico.
This problem was accentuated by recent torrential rains late last September, will soon be solved, as the Segura basin, under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Government of Spain, already begun channeling works of the promenade, to dispose of the land and, after negotiating with the mayor owners affected by the route, thus avoiding expropriation nor desired by the council or by the landowners.
With this work will be avoided in the future that many neighbors swamped their houses, every time it rains heavily, as in so far.
This improvement is completed with the already completed a couple of months also by the Hydrographic Confederation of improving the promenade Celada, also motivated by the latest and abundant rainfall.
With these works is demonstrated once again that the needs of Alhama, are being addressed and resolved by the popular party governments both regionally, nationally, despite the economic difficulties facing the country.
