At the ceremony were present the councilor of Celebration, Maria Jose Ceron, representatives of the Brotherhood of La Candelaria, among whom was, Romera Josefa Muñoz and Miguel Muñoz and the pastor of the church of San Lázaro, José Prior.
Acts of La Candelaria begin Friday with a Mass at 19:30 am at the Church of La Concepción sung by the Choir of Conception, after which the image is transferred to the church of La Concepción, the Rambla Don Diego , Log and La Feria.
The great day of the feast, on February 2, will begin at 9:45 pm with the Procession of children given a short tour from the Church of St. Lazarus, Virgen del Rosario Street, Gil, La Feria and arrival of new San Lazaro.
After the 10:00 am Mass, sung by the "Choir Alhama" will be held the traditional pilgrimage to the Collao crowded.
This is expected to start at 11:00 h from the churchyard of St. Lazarus and during the tour will be accompanied by the pilgrims and musical groups "Aires de Espuña" and "Workshop of musicians Sonata".
On arrival at the Collao will be a mass in the chapel, sung by the group "Friends of the Night".
Finally, there is provided a giant paella in the Collao for all the neighbors to 14:00 h.
In the presentation the representatives of the Brotherhood of candelería, Celebrations Councilwoman Maria Jose Ceron, and parish priest, Joseph Prior, have highlighted the importance of public participation in this deep-traditional pilgrimage and religious.
