Alhama City Council, through the Department of Women, starts from September two new courses for unemployed women both as active workers, to be held at the Women's Business Incubator.
A course on "Introduction to Computing" of 30 hours, which remains one of the most popular courses for women, in fact, women are called respecting the waiting list in the order of registration.
This course will start on Thursday, September 13, in the mornings, from 9:30 to 12:30 pm, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and end on October 4.
And another Training Workshop on "Cognitive Stimulation" of 30 hours, which will run from September 19 to October 4, in the mornings, from 9.30am to 12.30pm Monday to Thursday.
The objective of this course is to educate all women who are planning to work or are working in the geriatric field care and dependent elderly, providing them with training techniques for memory, attention, spatial orientation, temporal and personal and reasoning and logic, the person providing greater autonomy.
The program of this workshop contains the following modules:
Module I: The Aging
Module II: Dementia and basic cognitive processes.
Module III: Training of personal autonomy in activities
daily life.
