The Department of Culture and Heritage has organized a photo contest on the districts high Gebas and watercress.
The initiative was presented by the mayor of Culture and Heritage, Carmen Maria Rodriguez, accompanied by the headman of Gebas, Bernardo Garcia, and the pedánea of ​​El Berro and representatives of the neighborhood association of Gebas, Andreo Diego and El Berro, Francisco Sanchez.
The theme of the call are the hamlets of Gebas and El Berro and it may involve all people who wish to reside in Spain.
Must be submitted compulsorily three photos whose content should be the Ravines of Gebas, the hamlet of Gebas and the village of El Berro.
Those interested in participating should sign up for free and works should be sent to the Culture cultura@alhamademurcia.es
The deadline for submission of the works is the 10 July 2012 at 13.00.

Participants will compete for prizes res: First of 300 euros by the Department of Culture, second of 200 euros by the Neighborhood Association and El Berro and Gebas 100 euros donated by Casa Rural El Mirador (Gebas).
The awards ceremony will take place during the opening ceremony of the Exhibition of Painting and Photography, on Friday August 10th at 20:30 pm in the Community Center Gebas.
The exhibition is in the hamlet of Gebas of 10 to 16 August in the village of El Berro from 24 to 30 August 2012.
