Sport and love of nature is a common feature in almost all alhameņos.
The proximity to natural areas encourages the practice of many sports that combine exercise and contact with these places.
The Department of Environment of the City of Alhama, aware of this and interested precisely in promoting respect for nature, has organized a series of talks where experienced mountaineers tell their sporting adventures.
On Thursday 31 had a sample of it in the domed hall of the Archaeological Museum of Los Banos with talk of alhamaeņos Juan Gomez Martinez, who told Ginesa as was his return to Annapurna in the Himalayas.
