Actors, extras, writers, film directors, assistant director, production assistants, cameras, sound technicians, photographers ... You do not witness the shooting of any great movie to see on site what is the movies.
Just close one day this week for Alhama to check the intensity of shooting and what it entails.
This is due to VII Film Making Course organized by the University of Murcia.
The first edition of this course was held in 2005 and have since passed it over a hundred students coming from different parts of the Spanish geography, eighteen short films have been shot, some of which have been selected in several festivals and have even received awards clinch.
The last of them obtained by Icaria syndrome (Juan Carlos Martinez, 2010) in the FICC 2011.
This past weekend began the story again, and sixteen students, teachers and other participants were welcomed to the Plenary Hall of the Consistory local councilor for Culture and Heritage, Carmen Maria Rodriguez, who expressed his commitment to promoting this course, emphasizing its importance in the cultural background of Alhama.
This was the official opening of this course you will be shot this year, again, two short films: "The Russian Doll," written and directed by David Perea and "Hunger," directed by Juan Carlos Martinez written by Juan Carlos Martinez, Montserrat Molina and Juan Francisco Ceron.
The course objective is to provide a highly practical and personal knowledge to their students.
To that end, we organize two groups and each of which performs a shoot under the direction of two professors, David Perea and Juan Carlos Martinez, all of them, led by professor at the University of Film, Juan Francisco Ceron Gomez.
Therefore, students, teachers and actors hired, live at the House of Ral, a shelter prepared for the occasion, not only sleep and eat, but they teach.
For filming, the course leaders have previously selected areas, often occupying streets and squares and with the participation of many alhameños who want to be part of this great adventure as extras or actors.
The end of the course is the projection of the two short shot, as in a big movie premiere because, after all it is, takes place in the movie theater Velasco, in the presence of all those involved and the many onlookers who do not want to miss, once again, the great opportunity to attend a premiere.
This will, next Saturday, at 20.00.
