On Tuesday afternoon November 15 met in the Women's Department, located at the Center for Employment Training and Alhama de Murcia, the Jury of the VIII Poster Contest "without discrimination, without violence and on equal terms" organized by the Council of Women of the City Council of Alhama de Murcia.
After deliberation the jury on the eight papers presented, it was decided to award the prize of 290 euros to the work of Leticia Sánchez Soriano.
This poster will initially be used to broadcast the events of March 8, International Women's Day.
It will present the prize to the winner on November 25, after reading the manifesto against gender violence in the House of Culture.
On the other hand, as usual, there will be a sample with the papers to contest from day 21 to 28 November at the entrance of the Casa de la Cultura.
The jury consisted of representatives of various associations of local women, as well as Pilar Munuera, graphic designer, for a representative of the Directorate General of Domestic Violence Prevention and chaired by the mayor of Women, Lola Canovas.
