The City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Employment and Local Development, has worked with the Whole Earth Foundation in conducting the course entitled "geriatric care for people in the Home," which was developed at the Center stays day from February 14 until the day June 30, 2011.
The course ends with the presence of the Councillor for Employment, Sebastián Moreno, who delivered the diplomas to the students and thanked them for participation in the initiative.
The duration of this training, which leads to obtaining the relevant Certificate of Competence, has been of 480 contact hours and 120 hours of professional practices that have been made in the Home Care Service and the Day Centre .
Participants were 14 students, mainly unemployed, or equivalent degree from ESO, who have passed a positive evaluation of all training modules built on the Certificate of Professionalism, whose credentials shall be issued by the Ministry competent for employment training and will be delivered by the SEF, Regional Employment and Training.
