Filmmaking Course reached its sixth edition (28/09/2010)

The course has become a reference in training and offers participants a unique experience in Spain

As of Wednesday 6 October, or until all places, remains open enrollment period of Filmmaking Course VI.

Those interested can find information on www.cursoderealizacioncinematografica.es or by calling 868 88 48 78 (evenings: Monday Friday, from 12 to 14 hours, evenings, Tuesday and Thursday from 18 to 20 hours).

The price, 360 euros, including accommodation and full board at shelter system from the afternoon of Saturday 9th until the evening of Saturday 16 October.

The course, organized by the University of Murcia and the Department of Culture, offers a highly practical training and the opportunity to meet people in Spain interested in the world of cinema.

Students are housed, along with teachers and actors, for a week in the house-hostel in El Ral and integrated crew driving a professional digital equipment.

The offer is completed with theoretical (editing, writing, directing, production ...), projections and a final practice for students.

The course is led by Professor of the University of Murcia, Juan Francisco Ceron, and among its faculty has the presence of two of the most active and prominent filmmakers of the region: Juan Carlos Martinez and David Perea, under whose direction the two separate roll students short films.

It is also describing the presence of the director Xavi Puebla, who teaches management classes and script.

Xavi Puebla is a professor of SCCHN (Center of Cinematographic Studies of Catalonia) and his latest film, Welcome to Farewell Guttman (2008) won major awards, among which won Best Screenplay at the International Festival of Montreal.

Filmmaking Course Alhama de Murcia, has developed over the years in training reference in the field of cinema in the region and the rest of Spain for its rigor and characteristics that make it an experience of special interest and creativity.

As in all previous editions, will have a significant presence of extras and local actors in the cast of the short films, which will be screened in the cinema Velasco on Saturday 16 October.
