Sebastián Moreno: I'm not convinced that we have sufficient safeguards in order to pass this plan (30/07/2010)

At the point of final approval of the Partial Plan "Sierra de Alhama, Moreno voted against it because this partial plan is based on an Infrastructure Plan which was opposed because he thinks it falls short in terms of level requirements embodied therein, especially in the area of facilities and equipment.

"I still think that the industry itself should consider their own educational and health facilities.

Surprisingly Plan covering 1.5 million m2, with an estimated 2,500 homes and 6,000 inhabitants, far more than does our neighboring town of Librilla, says nothing about building a school or doctor's office within the own development.

We will have to move to the Civic Center's Molata once the municipality to have economic opportunity in order to build the contributions of the five promoters of urban projects, assuming they decide to develop all that is a very big time.

Furthermore, our City Council allows a period of 15 years to build these endowments in Molata while signing a waiver clause in which the promoters to pass increases in the fixed fee if you feel any increases in the budget execution of the works, something that in a period as long as we are talking about 10 to 15 years, undoubtedly occur.

That is, within 15 years our City will be unable to meet the costs of construction of these buildings with the quota required for today and we can not not update or revise.

As to the motions filed by the UDeRM, had the support of Council of CDL.

Questions and answers on the council asked the Environment concerning the delimitation of the bike lane Guadalentín for Culture on the lack of air conditioning in the Municipal Library and the mayor about the lack of lighting on the roundabout to the motorway link Cartagena with that of Mazarrón and access to Muñoces.

Finally I asked him about the strong improvement in the RM-23 (highway Mazarrón), to explain the reason why the Highways Agency is not aware of this issue and not included in the list of remaining work, although the motion passed unanimously in January 2009.

The mayor in his line: very good words but little action.
