The Councilman of Pedanías, Antonio García has presented this morning the tenth edition of the Encounter of Gangs in El Berro, which will take place this Sunday, February 18.
In this act he has been accompanied by José López, mayor pedáneo of El Berro, Juan Bautista García and Antonio Cava, members of the Cuadrilla de El Berro, which is 150 years old since its inception.
There are five participating crews in this event: Auroras de Lorca, Torres de Cotillas, Cañada de La Cruz, Arboleja de Murcia and Cuadrilla de El Berro.
In addition, the City of Alhama puts at the disposal of the neighbors a free bus that will leave from the fairground towards El Berro at 10.00 am and which will return at 5:00 pm.

Antonio García has also announced the agreement signed by the City Council with Cuadrilla de El Berro, which includes a subsidy amounting to 3,500 euros, to celebrate this meeting and disseminate the folklore and traditional music of the district, through from the El Berro guitar workshop, which currently has 22 students.
