The equipment for the samples is collected in the pharmacies and delivery must be made in the Health Center
Since 2009, the Colon and Straight Cancer Prevention Program has been carried out in Alhama for men and women between the ages of 50 and 69 years.
The objective is the early detection of cancer of the colon and rectum through two stool tests taken in two successive days.
All people between 50 and 69 years old and assigned to primary care physicians belonging to Alhama will receive an invitation to go to the Health Center, which details the day and time to deliver the screening equipment (necessary for take stool samples).
It also specifies, on the back of the invitation, the collaborating pharmacy offices to which they can go presenting the letter of invitation to remove the screening equipment.

From 9.30 to 13.30
The address to which the letter is sent is the same as that on your Health Card, so you must inform the Health Center of any change of address.
If you are between those ages and have not received the invitation letter, go to the Health Center and request the information.
There they can provide you with a copy of the letter and correct any address errors that may be the reason why you did not receive it.
