In 2016 the PIT provided more than 3,600 information services and since its recent opening has attended more than 400 visitors, which suggests a greater influx of visitors to the urbanization compared to last year.
The predominant user profile of the PIT in 2016 was the second British resident, followed by the British tourist, whose main reason for visiting is the weather.
The information most demanded was the one related to transport and the cultural one.
In order to promote the main cultural attractions of the municipality, a program of cultural visits has been launched for the second half of 2017, with visits during the summer months.
This new program, included in the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia, contains guided visits to the Castle in Spanish and English, guided visits to the Archaeological Museum Los Baños and visits theatralized by the town center in Spanish and English.
All of them are free, except for visits to the Castle, which cost € 3 per adult and € 2 per child and a brochure has been published in Spanish and English with your calendar.
The visits must be previously booked in the same PIT Condado de Alhama, the Tourist Office or the Archaeological Museum Los Baños and also online, through the MURCIA TOURISM portal.
On the other hand, the Municipality of Conservation of Alhama County has re-launched the bus service Condado de Alhama Alhama that will be operational until next September 5.
The bus has no cost for the user and circulates from Monday to Sunday with morning, afternoon and evening transfers from the parking lot of the Al-Kasar Shopping Center to the bus stop of Av. Juan Carlos I, opposite the Market Of Abastos.
This bus service facilitates the access of tourists and residents to the guided tours and other tourist resources of the municipality, to the establishments and commercial and its schedule allows access to other activities and events such as "Music in the Gardens", "Young Music" Or "Young Summer".
