On the occasion of the Celebration of the World Day of Rare Diseases, next Friday, February 17th at 8:30 pm in the House of Culture, the Delegation of the Association Dgenes in Alhama de Murcia has organized a solidarity concert of Cantautores murcianos .
The ticket price will be 3 euros and can be purchased at the box office minutes before the concert starts.
In this concert will be Murcia artists such as Mar de Fondo, Rubén Reina, Juanfran Esparza, Cere Vera, Berni Castaño and Miguel Angel Delgado;
That with the sensitivity and good to do that characterize them will delight the attending public.
The World Day of Rare Diseases is celebrated on February 28th and this year's motto is titled: "Research is our Hope".
The Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases, within the framework of World Day, has set itself the objective of transferring the urgent need to promote research on infrequent diseases, under a comprehensive approach and work in RED.
During 2017, the research will focus the global message of the campaign globally bringing all countries together in a single voice.
The Campaign, which was first developed in 2008, currently mobilizes more than 85 countries around the world and promotes the development of thousands of awareness-raising activities and initiatives to make the problem of rare diseases visible.
The Association of Rare Diseases and Other Generalized Disorders of Development "D 'GENES" aims, among its aims, to take actions that contribute to improve the quality and life expectancy of patients and their families, to implement actions that affect the avoidance of isolation Which in many cases suffer from parents with children with rare diseases, and carry out activities of diffusion and sensitization of the characteristics and peculiarities of diseases classified as rare.
Among the services offered at the Multidisciplinary Center "Celia Carrion Perez de Tudela" located in the neighboring municipality of Totana, are the following:
Psychological Support Service;
Physiotherapy;
Speech therapy;
Information and guidance service on rare diseases (SIOER);
Cognitive Stimulation Service;
Reflexology and relaxation service;
Family respite;
Hydrotherapy and aquatic rehabilitation;
Social Care Service and Home Care and Palliative Care Service.
The information and guidance services on Rare Diseases and the Psychological Support Service are currently being developed in the Delegation of Alhama de Murcia.
From our Association we want to express a public thanks to the artists for their disinterested participation in this event by showing their solidarity and social awareness towards the group of people diagnosed with some kind of rare disease and on the other hand, we encourage anyone who wishes To accompany us in this solidarity activity.
