The City Council installs solar beacons at different pedestrian crossings to improve its visibility (04/01/2017)

In Alhama there are numerous pedestrian crossings, some of them support a great flow of people and passage of vehicles.

This, added to the fact that the night visibility is not very good, has led the Department of Works and Services to the placement, for safety, of solar beacons embedded in the pavement, in order to warn at night the drivers of the presence On the causeway of a pedestrian crossing.

The placement of the beacons, agreed with the Local Police of Alhama, has been carried out in the following steps:

- 4 beacons Calle Fuente del Ral with Acisclo Díaz

- 4 beacons Avda. Ginés Campos n ° 110

- 4 beacons Avda. Ginés Campos, next to monument Ginés Campos

- 6 beacons Avda. Ginés Campos at the IES Valle de Leiva

- 6 beacons Avda. Antonio Fuertes, n ° 76 (park front the Palmeral)

- 6 beacons Avda. Antonio Fuertes, before the roundabout of the fans

- 4 beacons Avda. De España n ° 2

- 4 beacons Avda. Juan Carlos I with Calle Méndez Núñez

- 4 beacons Rambla Don Diego with Alfonso X

- 4 beacons Avda. Juan Carlos I with Calle Matadero

- 4 beacons pedestrian crossing in the Ral, at the end of the Rambla Don Diego

The beacons have the following characteristics:

Diameter = 100 mm

Height = 60 mm

Lights = 3 LED lights on one side

Traffic = 30 ton

Watertightness = IP 68

All of them comply with what is stipulated in the Instruction of Signaling of Work 8.3.IC of the Ministry of Development.

The amount of this action amounts to € 3,571.45 + VAT.
