A group of 50 students from the Faculty of Communication of the University of Murcia today arrived in Alhama to know the municipality and its main attractions with the objective of developing ideas for the creation of the brand of the future thermal spa, its dissemination and positioning.
The Official Chronicler of Alhama, José Baños, has received them together with the Mayor and the Councilor of Culture, and have made a guided tour of the local heritage: The Archaeological Museum Los Baños, Atrium of the Church, Plaza Vieja, Such as the locations of Nueva Espuña, Los Secanos and Las Menas.
The information obtained today will allow these students to continue with a work of sum of ideas on the resort of Alhama in which they have been immersed for a few months and that will end at the end of February 2017. After this, will be the visit of students of The Faculty of Architecture of the UPCT, that will elaborate different projects on this space like practices of degree until June of 2017.
With this meeting, promoted by the City of Alhama, the students have been able to know firsthand the thermal history of the municipality and the different phases through which it has passed from Roman times to our days.
