Cine Teatro Velasco can not be open, for technical reasons, to the acts of Santa Cecilia.
Its opening was scheduled for Wednesday October 12 (holiday) while renovation work and conditioning are near completion, a delay with the company sound and lighting linked to a contract in early 2015 requires that its implementation march have to delay a few weeks.
It will be on November 18 (Friday) with the titular band concert of the Musical Association of Alhama de Murcia, within the celebrations of the patron saint of music.
The activities planned for this month are amended as follows:
Wednesday October 12: reopening Cinema Velasco (pass to Friday 18 November).
Friday, October 14: Presentation disco Manuel Luna (passes to January 14, 2017).
Saturday 15 October: Fourth Meeting of Choirs and Flamenco Art Rocieros (the date is maintained and is changed to the Municipal Auditorium).
Remember that this space had significant deficiencies of infrastructure and security.
Among the arrangements, it has undertaken the change of soil and seats, has lowered the height of the stage, replaced all wiring and records, has undertaken construction in the basement of new dressing rooms and a warehouse, among others.
The City Council apologizes for the inconvenience.
