Intense night's work for "Easter Sunday" (28/03/2016)

From early Saturday afternoon until late Sunday morning working intensely in the brotherhoods.

Cut wire, filling goblets, place flowers, tying bouquets and prodding, are some of the work throughout Holy Week are held at the headquarters of the brotherhoods, but in the afternoon Saturday night, intensify and multiply for holders look in all its splendor on Sunday Resurrection.

Brothers, siblings, friends and supporters, all welcome, are coming to the headquarters to help in this long day of work.

Throughout the week the structure is done, taking the design thought throne, becoming the brotherhoods true creativity workshops.

When evening came, they start work, scaffolding, ladders, benches and large tables take the seats of the brotherhoods.

On our visit to the fraternities and sororities we receive with joy and a smile, we are among friends, and family atmosphere we breathe.

Around large tables, begin to roll corsages, to put flowers in goblets, cut wires, all a bustle of activity.

Some rise, others feel, but the tables are not left empty, there is a lot of work, and gradually goes ahead.

There are also moments of rest, have a snack, talk and laughter, recalling stories of the week.

Time to click the flowers are just a few, who are dedicated to it.

Is an art that requires specialized handling and great technical ability to achieve these balanced compositions with expression, that look thrones Easter Sunday.

More than 16,000 flowers which have to be placed on the thrones.

This year, "the Moraos" have chosen 700 500 red roses and gladioli for the Risen Christ;

"The Coloraos" wear the throne of Saint Veronica with wallflowers 1500, 400 red gerberas, white roses and lilies;

"Blues" adorn the throne of St. Mary Magdalene with 300 yards of gladiolus, lilium 500 white, 10 stems of orchids, anthurium and 100 blue roses;

and "White" have chosen to San Juan 800 orchids, 800 calla lilies, gladiolas 700, 6400 white gerberas, 250 palm flowers, anthurium and lilies;

and Our Lady of Sorrows of "Black" 2600 roses surround her.

Spend hours with serenity and excitement to finish, and the fear that this Saturday night change the time ... But time, everything has been about, the drums, and headlines on their thrones gowns, out a year to the meeting, where thousands of citizens look forward to see spectacular works with every year they surprise us our Brotherhoods.
