A group of high school students from IES Valle de Leiva have welcomed at home young people from the French town of Ancenis, located in the Pays de la Loire region (northwest).
On the occasion of this visit, on Friday March 12, the City of Alhama hosted a reception at the Archaeological Museum Los Baños to welcome French students.
The Councillor for Education, Mariola Guevara, was in charge of welcoming all students, both Leiva Valley and their guests, a total of 50 boys and girls accompanied by teachers of the Institute of Alhama and teachers in Ancenis.
In addition to the mayor, they accompanied the young, Juanjo, museum guide, and José Baños, official chronicler of Alhama, who were offered explanations of the cultural and natural heritage of the municipality in a unique setting such as the dome of the museum.
Mariola Guevara stressed the importance of these exchanges with other countries "and that enrich the education of students and serve so they are aware of about different places and customs."
