The Councilor for Commerce and Hospitality, Leticia Pareja, has presented the 1st Los Mayos 2021 window dressing contest, in which all Alhama merchants who wish to participate, regardless of the sector to which they are dedicated. A single modality of participation is established in which all sectors of commerce will be included.
The jury will consider the identification of the showcase with the Los Mayos party, the presentation of the products and the originality.
It should be taken into account that the Los Mayos festival is mainly during the daytime, so the visit to the shop windows will take place during daylight hours, without assessing the lighting. The sets must be exhibited to the public from April 26 to May 9, 2021. Registrations will be made at the training and employment center directly or by phone (preferably) by calling 868 921 084 (until Friday, April 23, 2021). The prizes are as follows: 1st prize: 200 euros. 2nd prize 150 euros. 3rd prize: 100 euros. 21 second prize of 50 euros. The jury will be made up of professionals from the sector, representatives of the City Council, the Alhama Trade Association and residents of the municipality.
They will visit the registered businesses on April 29 from 5:30 p.m.
and the prizes may be declared void.
These, in addition to taking into account the scores awarded individually, will agree on the winning windows.
